The Story Behind LoCo’s Asylum
LoCo’s isn’t just a gym—it’s our way of honoring the place we now call home. “LoCo” stands for Long County, where our kids go to school, where we’ve met neighbors who quickly became family, and where we chose to plant our roots.
When the dream of opening a gym became real, we wanted a name that reflected both where we are and where we came from. Back home, many gyms are called “Asylums,” so combining the two felt like the perfect fit.
LoCo’s Asylum represents more than just fitness. It’s about community, growth, and strength—inside and out. This is where people come together, push limits, and build each other up.
And if you stop by, there’s a good chance you’ll see the owner, Mike—whether he’s working out, training others, or lending a hand around the gym. He takes pride in meeting everyone personally, because this isn’t just his business—it’s his passion and his way of giving back to the community that welcomed our family.
We’re proud to be here, proud to serve Long County, and proud to welcome YOU into the LoCo’s Asylum family.
